Changes and new bus services from September 2026

Working with Kent County Council, and supported by Government Bus Grant Funding, Nu-Venture will operate a number of replacement local bus services from 1 September 2026

Nu-Venture 667 School time service offers direct link from Walderslade and Lords Wood to Rainham Schools

The direct service links local communities with the Rainham Schools corridor without the need for pupils to change buses, helping to make journeys easier for students and more convenient for parents and carers.

Monday to Friday School Holiday Timetables operate on and From Wednesday 22 July 2026

Bus 29 Summer 2026

Road closures during highways work will affect the normal operation of the service on/from Wednesday 22 July through to/including Friday 28Augst 2026. Two buses will be required to operate the temporary service as the through route will be closed at Eccles for the duration.

Mierscourt Road Closure

During the Summer holidays (22/7-31/8) Mierscourt Road will be closed at the junction with the A2 in Rainham. During this closure bus 130 will divert via Lonsdale Drive, Arthur Road and Maidstone Road.
