On and From 20 April 2026 there will be some changes to some Medway area bus times to further improve reliability.
Service 135 - Slight alteration in route with the service running directly back to Chatham from Borstal via the Maidstone Road,
Service 142 - Minor changes to times to improve timekeeping and the 1420 from Chatham is retimed to operate 5 minutes earlier at 1415,
Service 156 - Slight alteration to intermediate times, and layover time reduced at the Queen Mother Court to improve overall reliability on the journey back into Chatham.
Service 167 - New Service Walderslade - Lords Wood - Princes Park - Capstone - Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, Mondays to Fridays.
Service 169 - The service frequency will increase to hourly off peak on Mondays to Fridays. No Change to Saturday timetable.
Service 178 - New Service Chatham - Magpie Hall Road - Churchill Avenue - Luton Road - Chatham Circular on Mondays to Fridays replacing Service 179, 3 journeys a day,
Service 179 - Withdrawn on Mondays to Fridays and replaced by new service 178, and increase of journeys on 179. No Change to Saturday timetable.
Service 648 - New Peak time service on Schooldays linking Blue Bell Hill Village with Chatham Rail and Bus Stations.
Service 667 - New School time school day journey linking Walderslade and Lords Wood with Rainham Girls School, The Howard School and Rainham Mark Grammar School.
The Service uplift on routes 169, and new routes 178 and 667 are funded by UK Government
