Nu-Venture bus 29 provides a 'shoppers bus' facility to/from Maidstone on Mondays to Fridays for Peters Village, Wouldham, Burham, Eccles, Aylesford and Ringlestone.
Road closures during highways work will affect the normal operation of the service on/from Wednesday 22 July through to/including Friday 28 August 2026. Two buses will be required to operate the temporary service as the through route will be closed at Eccles for the duration.
Temporary Nu-Venture bus 29A will start from Burham at 0920 serving bus stops OPPOSITE those normally served y Bus 29. It will serve Wouldham (opposite normal stops) at 0927 then Peters Village Co-Op at 0930 and Keepers Cottage Lane (0932) before following a diversion route to Maidstone, returning from Maidstone at the earlier time of 1125 to Peters Village, Wouldham and Burham.
Temporary Nu-Venture bus 29B will start from Eccles Recreation Ground at 1030 then serving normal bus stops via Aylesford (1036), Forstal Road and Ringlestone (1048) to Maidstone returning from Maidstone at 1245 to Ringlestone, Aylesford and Eccles.
Normal bus times on service 29 resume on Tuesday 1 September, on which date buses on school-time Nu-Venture 529 will also resume (but to a revised afternoon route and timetable after the school summer holidays)
