Bus Service Changes from 6 July 2026

From Monday 6 July 2026 there will be some changes to the following Nu-Venture buses;

Buses 13/14

Times of some buses are revised especially on Wednesdays with Bus 14 withdrawn on this day. The 0712 journey from Hollingbourne/Leeds/Sutton Road/Maidstone will extend beyond Maidstone to also serve Huntsman Lane and the nearby VIAT schools.

School-time buses 77/771/772

Continue to serve Aylesford Station, West Malling, Kings Hill , Mereworth and Tonbridge, with revised timetables and school-time bus 77 renumbered 770. Further school time changes will take place on 1 September 2026.

Bus 77 (midday period (approx 1000-1400)

We are grateful to passengers for past support but Bus 77 has become uneconomic to operate during the mid-day period. Note that Maidstone Hospital is no longer served.

Bus 59

The timetable is revised

Bus 78

The 0937 Barming via Fant to Maidstone will run seven minutes earlier throughout.

Buses 149 and 151

A revised bus 151 timetable is aimed at improving punctuality and reliability in current traffic conditions. Some buses will be re-routed in West Malling because of badly-parked delivery and other vehicles. There will also be a new 1625 departure from West Malling Station Direct to Kings Hill on Mondays to Fridays.

Buses 550 and 552

School-time bus 552 will no longer serve Aylesford, Eccles, Burham and Wouldham due to significant drop in passenger numbers meaning that costs are no longer covered.

Morning bus 552 will operate only between Halling, Peters Bridge Road, and Malling School, not serving stops at Aylesford, Eccles, Burham and Wouldham.

Afternoon bus 550 and 552 are withdrawn; bus 151 at 1523 from Holmesdale School towards Chatham will additionally serve Peters Bridge Road to replace bus 550

Buses W3, W4, W5

Morning and Afternoon bus W5 is replaced by a diversion of bus W3, which will additionally serve Leybourne Chase.

 Afternoon buses W3 and W4 will depart from Wrotham School at 1510
